Adonit was set to release the first two of many new stylus products in Q1 of 2016. The Adonit Mark, an everyday low cost stylus for both Apple & Android devices and the Adonit Switch, a beautifully crafted dual-ended stylus and ink pen.


The Adonit team asked me to come in to help with a few projects, starting with the holistic re-design of their retail packaging, some promotional videos for the above mentioned product release and some overall design direction for the upcoming holiday season.

After exploring many potential directions for the refreshed Adonit packaging, I landed on a design system that featured a unique color for each stylus as well as a set of illustrative "doodles" that reflect the types of users that would most likely be interested in that stylus.

For the video production, I teamed up with the folks at Edwards Media to produce two individual pieces that mirrored one another in style, but featured subtle production choices that would differentiate the products from one other.


While the Switch Stylus is seen in more of a business environment…the Mark Stylus is seen as a carefree tool for the average student or creative.


These stylistic choices allowed us to create a combined "super edit", that showcased both products side-by-side. The result is an exciting look at two high quality pieces of consumer electronics that speak to the range of products available from Adonit. View the combined "super edit" below.
