PEJ Events was founded in 2017 as the new face of Pok-e-Jo’s full service catering. Pok-e-Jo’s had built a reputation over 4 decades for having some of the most delicious BBQ in central Texas, but PEJ wants to be known for their gorgeously elevated offerings that go far beyond BBQ.

My team and I prepared ourselves to roll camera at real events, and produce documentary style footage capturing the beauty, elegance, and expertise that PEJ provides. We wanted the final edits to have an emotional heartbeat, and hoped that viewers would feel something special while selecting PEJ as their caterer of choice.

The result was two aspirational video vignettes focusing on summer wedding season (above) and another outdoor catered event we filmed on a sweltering summer day (below). These videos brought tears to the eyes of the PEJ team on first presentation, because they felt it truly captured the essence of what they do.
